Teague Middle School Fine Arts Department

The Fine Arts department at Teague middle school provides creative education visual performing arts and critical thinking and self-expression. These skills can prepare students for further study in the Fine Arts field include working in performing arts, literary arts, visual arts, and the use of media and digital arts within these fields.

Developing these skills and students is also vital for their educational career and provides support in other core academic areas.  These skills can include enhancing cognitive critical thinking and problem-solving abilities providing core subject academic support, building essential skills and academics, fostering creativity, increasing student engagement, fostering social emotional growth, and increasing confidence in students’ abilities. Teague provides these courses and resources to its students so they can further their field of study in the Fine Arts beyond middle school.
