Teague is pleased to offer a Bridge Club.  The club is for anyone who is interested in learning how to play Bridge as well as students who already know how.   Bridge is a card game that can be played for a lifetime and a game in which, with practice, you will constantly learn new tactics and strategies.  It is very popular among people of all ages and you'll never learn to play younger!

The club is sponsored by Ms. Cowan and the lessons/play are supervised by Teague Dividends Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Steiner.  We meet every Tuesday morning at 7:45 unless otherwise announced.

Don't worry if you don't know the first thing about the game, come learn along with the rest of us!

Welcome to the Teague Middle School Chess club.

The goal of the TMS Chess Club is to give every person the opportunity to learn how to play chess and how to improve their chess play. Chess is a game of creativity, intelligence and strategy. Using videos and books the Chess Club members will learn popular Chess strategies and winning moves. The history of chess and the philosophy behind the game and its structure will also be introduced. We are always searching for ‘Bobby Fisher’ but more importantly the Chess club students will gain knowledge of the game, friendships, learn good sportsmanship and have FUN!
