The club is sponsored by Ms. Cowan and the lessons/play are supervised by Teague Dividends Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Steiner.  We meet every Tuesday morning at 7:45 unless otherwise announced.

Using videos and books the Chess Club members will learn popular Chess strategies and winning moves. The history of chess and the philosophy behind the game and its structure will also be introduced. We are always searching for ‘Bobby Fisher’ but more importantly the Chess club students will gain knowledge of the game, friendships, learn good sportsmanship and have FUN!
